we did that on pupose (kept the extra weight in there, etc) to try and mainain parity with the other cars. the ZR1 was slightly superior to the others so Beuksux tweaked it a bit to try and even the playing field.

i may need to solicit the services of MNG Graphics to put an epic carbon fibre paint on this one. the paint i did is pretty cool but i'd like to have a 2nd livery as an option. I'll take that as a hint. Can you tune the #7 the same as the #16? I already own that one and can't afford to buy the #16 ...

I tweaked the R1 tune and got a guy on my friend's list 'F4H Turbo' to try it out. He absolutely loves it and is currently #16 on the LB with it at Sebring. I'll be posting the tweaks soon. since i run this car online so much and hotlap with it, i've been fiddling with the setup, always looking to f...

Yep, ABS is on, stability control off. I set Decel differential to 20% and it helped a lot. I still have to be careful about keeping the car straight when braking, but it's a lot more stable when braking. I went back and read the OP. i think you have too much rear brake pressure and they're locking...

Wow, that's hysterical. but in reverse, wouldn't the downforce turn to lift? That's why NASCAR ditched the wing and went back to the old school rear spoiler.

Makes sense to me. The more downforce, the more pressure on the tires. The more pressure on the tires, the harder it is to lock them up. sounds good to me. less braking time = faster laps = :D I went from # two hundered-something to #121 on the LB at Sebring and shaved a full .600 of my time. They'...

At the beginning of the walkthrough, the following concerning power to weight ratio confused me. The tutorial says: -- Without going into all the details of every car here, right off the bat, you can see the Lambo LP 640 is a freaking beast. It has the lowest Power to Weight ( lower is better ) wit...

I got this gigantic pimple on my forehead. my hair is very short, slightly longer than a crew cut, so i don't have any hair to cover it up with. and i can't wear a baseball cap cuz the zit is right where the headband would be which would irritate it and make me sad. i'm of the belief i'm too old to ...

i got another gem of a tip from one of the F4H guys. On the R1 they're running 125% brake pressure and the car brakes like a champ (no ABS). i never would have figured that out on my own. Impala (aka: The Great Casino) explained it logically, which had something to do with the gobs of downforce they...

The 2 eleven rocks. Set that rear decel to 25-30% and the back end won't step out. Run stock hp and put on race tires, i think i'm running 225f 245r with 18" and 19" wheels respectively. if the car is still getting loose in the back, run those turns one gear higher as well. (2nd gear turn...

On the topic of stiffer ARB's... I read an article the other day that talked about the role of springs and ARB's to fight body roll. It stated two schools of thought are stiff arb + loose springs. The other is loose ARB + stiff springs. It said that stiff/loose is a more general purpose race car, c...

Yeah that doesn't make sense to me either come to think of it. Stiffer ARBs do NOT affect how much weight is transferred. "Increasing the total roll stiffness of a vehicle does not change the steady state total load (weight) transfer from the inside wheels to the outside wheels, it only reduce...
